More doom and gloom about climate change, it's everywhere. Unfortunately, the environment change ship is going down rapidly with it's ever increasing traveler load and de rigeur status. Yawn. Now prior to you call me batty, I have no objection to either the idea or the truth of environment change. No arguments there. It's occurring. For the record though, there is an option.
The climate change we are talking about due to the worldwide warming is not going to be a smooth transition to any living being on this planet. The result might be viewed as quickly as by end of this century.
The ordinary American customer buys more than he/she needs at house. It's just the method it is for a regular American, a culture of owning more than what he requires. Meanwhile, the remainder of the world are in dire need, and are content with pre-owned or 3rd hand devices and equipment. The so-called 3rd world is the dumpsite of Americans and advanced nations.
Robinson takes goal at procedures that will secure cities from flooding, keep electrical power and keep pricey catastrophe to a minimum. However the idea extends beyond capital jobs. Pursuing a more diversified energy policy in this country will reduce focus on the turbulent Middle East and the probability some pissed off mullah will require our damage and be successful.
What we need is a firm commitment and determination from federal governments, corporations, companies, and from each and every consumer. What we should do is to make everybody conscious of the consequences of our actions, of our neglect for environment. What we are doing is not enough.

Nature works in cycles. Environment modification is natural. The climate will continue to alter, getting warmer, getting chillier, whether we like it or not. We are not so all-powerful that we can control the weather condition.
